These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Mimi Maths website and to services purchased or accessed through Mimi Maths. By registering, booking a service, purchasing a package or accessing paid resources, you agree to these terms.

1. Mimi Maths Services

Mimi Maths provides Mathematics support to secondary-school learners through services that may include:

• Online one-to-one tutoring

• Exam preparation by topic

• Call a Friend support

• Access to the Mimi Maths Resource Library

Services are offered subject to availability and may be updated from time to time.

2. Registration

Learners may be required to register before purchasing or accessing certain Mimi Maths services.

Learners and parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate and current information when registering.

Where a learner is under 18 years of age, parent or guardian details may be required for administrative, payment or communication purposes.

3. Online Tutoring

Online tutoring sessions are offered by appointment.

Current tutoring options may include:

• Single tutoring sessions

• Multi-session tutoring packages

Payment must be received and confirmed before a tutoring session or package is regarded as paid and confirmed.

Learners who purchase Online Tutoring receive access to the Mimi Maths Resource Library while their tutoring access remains applicable under the service arrangement.

4. Tutoring Packages

Tutoring packages are allocated to the registered learner for whom they were purchased.

Sessions used are deducted from the learner's available package balance.

Unused sessions may not be transferred to another learner unless Mimi Maths agrees to this in advance.

Bookings are subject to tutor availability.

5. Rescheduling and Cancellations

If a learner is unable to attend a booked tutoring session, Mimi Maths should be informed as soon as reasonably possible.

Requests to reschedule are subject to availability.

Repeated late cancellations or failure to attend booked sessions may result in the session being counted as used.

Mimi Maths reserves the right to reschedule a session where circumstances outside its reasonable control make the original appointment unavailable.

6. Exam Preparation

Exam Preparation is offered as focused Mathematics support by topic.

Content may include targeted revision, practice questions and relevant past-paper-style or examination questions.

Exam Preparation supports the learner's preparation but does not guarantee any particular examination mark or result.

7. Call a Friend

Call a Friend provides short, targeted Mathematics support to registered learners using prepaid credits.

Credits must be purchased before the service is used.

The Mimi Maths WhatsApp contact used for Call a Friend is provided directly to eligible learners or parents and is not published publicly on the website.

Call a Friend is intended to help learners understand a problem or identify the next step. It is not intended to replace a full tutoring session where substantial teaching or revision is required.

Unused credits remain linked to the learner account for which they were purchased unless otherwise agreed by Mimi Maths.

8. Resource Library

The Mimi Maths Resource Library contains educational materials such as worksheets, revision activities, memos, solutions and other Mathematics resources.

Access is available to eligible registered learners.

Resource Library access may be purchased for a once-off fee of N$500.

Resource Library access is also included for eligible Online Tutoring clients.

Users must log in using the account associated with their Resource Access plan.

9. Resource Use and Copyright

Resources supplied by Mimi Maths are for the personal educational use of the registered learner.

Unless Mimi Maths gives prior written permission, resources may not be:

• Resold

• Republished

• Uploaded to another website or online platform

• Distributed commercially

• Shared systematically with persons who have not purchased or received authorised access

• Presented as the work of another person or organisation

Learners may download or print resources for their own study and educational use.

All original Mimi Maths materials remain the intellectual property of Mimi Maths unless otherwise stated.

10. Payments

Payments are currently made by electronic funds transfer (EFT).

The learner's name and surname should be used as the payment reference where requested.

Proof of payment may be sent to:

Payment is regarded as complete once it has been received and verified by Mimi Maths.

Submitting proof of payment does not by itself confirm that funds have been received.

11. Resource Access Payments

Resource Library access will be activated only after the relevant payment has been verified.

The learner must first have a registered website account so that the Resource Access plan can be linked to the correct account.

The email address used to log in must correspond with the learner account to which access has been assigned.

12. Refunds

Payments for services already provided or resources already accessed are generally not refundable.

Where Mimi Maths is unable to provide a paid service, an appropriate alternative arrangement, credit or refund may be offered.

Any other refund request will be considered according to the circumstances of the individual case.

13. Educational Outcomes

Mimi Maths aims to provide high-quality Mathematics support but cannot guarantee specific marks, examination results, school promotion or academic outcomes.

Learner progress depends on several factors, including attendance, participation, practice and individual circumstances.

14. Technology and Internet Access

Online tutoring and digital resources require suitable internet access and compatible equipment.

Learners are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate internet connectivity and equipment to participate in online services.

Mimi Maths is not responsible for interruptions caused by the learner's internet connection, device or third-party service provider.

15. Website Availability

Mimi Maths aims to keep the website and Resource Library available and functioning correctly.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues or services provided by third-party platforms.

Mimi Maths cannot guarantee uninterrupted website availability at all times.

16. Appropriate Use

Users must not attempt to:

• Gain unauthorised access to another learner's account

• Bypass Resource Library access restrictions

• Share login credentials for the purpose of providing unauthorised access

• Interfere with the operation or security of the website

• Use Mimi Maths materials for unlawful or commercial redistribution

Access may be suspended where there is evidence of misuse.

17. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Mimi Maths Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms and Conditions.

18. Changes to These Terms

Mimi Maths may update these Terms and Conditions when services, pricing, website functionality or business arrangements change.

The latest version will be published on the Mimi Maths website with the date of the most recent update.
